To Know or to not have Known

Ignorance is bliss. If you’re lucky, you’ll never have to know and live a carefree life. But most of the time, you will eventually know and it might be bothersome or even painful. This is where you start living consciously and warning yourself about the lessons learned.

Very general topic but can apply to anything in life. Love and relationships, work and society, animals and the food we consume, and the list goes on.

  • would you rather live your whole life not realizing he was a liar/cheater or knowing that someone who loves you can hurt you? Then the guard goes up and makes it harder to find someone who fits your longer list of criteria.
  • would you rather happily consume that delicious looking piece of meat not knowing how much it cost to bring it to the table or?
  • would you rather slave at your job, hoping that you would get promoted or realizing no matter how much effort you put in will not matter because it all lies in the person, place, and time

All of the above summarized is called OVER THINKING or a better way to put it, CRITICAL THINKING.

I had a wonderful sociology professor in University who always quoted, “I don’t care what you think, I care that you think.”

Be aware, acknowledge it, and keep living. FLOW.
